Show Casing CLP – Classification, Labelling and Packaging

The new European regulation CLP on the classification, labelling and packaging of dangerous substances and mixtures entered into force on 20 January 2009. This new system will gradually replace the existing classification and labeling. For substances, CLP will be obligatory from December 2010, for mixture from June 2015.

Companies that use dangerous substances and mixture will be more and more confronted with the new classification and labeling system during the upcoming months: new pictograms, new signal words, new hazard statements, etc. Therefore, it is important to make yourself familiar with the new system.

The REACH & CLP Helpdesk, in cooperation with chamber of crafts (Chambre des Métiers), chamber of commerce (Chambre de Commerce) and FEDIL, offers an information seminar on CLP on the following dates:

The aim of the seminar is to present the new CLP system and its consequences for Luxembourgish companies. Furthermore, the event aims to identify the needs of Luxembourgish companies to better adapt the future activities of the REACH & CLP Helpdesk to these needs.
