Lunch meeting - How to manage your obligations related to substances in articles
The REACH&CLP Helpdesk Luxembourg and the Chamber of Craft organise a lunch meeting on the AskREACH project and the IT tools developed within the framework of the project. This lunch meeting will take place on the 1st October from 12:00 to 14:00 in the premises of the Chamber of Craft in Luxembourg-Kirchberg.
The European REACH Regulation on the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals in the European Union defines more responsibilities for companies regarding the risk control of different chemicals.
During this event, the REACH & CLP Helpdesk Luxembourg will inform you of the obligations related to REACH for craft companies and introduces you to tools made to support you complying with your legal obligations. This event will be particularly aimed at craftsmen who manufacture or put on the market items such as jewelry, furniture, textiles, tools, ceramics etc.
You are concerned by REACH if you come in contact with chemicals, as part of your business, that is to say if you manufacture, import, store, put on the market or use them. This concerns, in principle, all craft enterprises, including the building industry, painting and varnishing workshops, cleaning services, chemical cleaning, workshops, etc.
The presentations will be in French (no translation). A small snack will be offered at the beginning of the event.
