A new amendment of the Annex XVII REACH (Regulation (EU) 2021/57) has been published in the Official Journal.

Inspectors will be checking whether duty holders comply with REACH authorisation requirements to protect the safety and health of workers, the general public and the environment from SVHCs.

As of 1 March 2021, manual completeness checks performed by ECHA staff will be extended to chemical safety reports to ensure they contain all the elements required under REACH.

ECHA has submitted an intention to restrict the placing on the market, or use, of 2,4-dinitrotoluene.

The consolidated opinions of the Committees for Risk Assessment and Socio-Economic Analysis for cobalt carbonate, cobalt di(acetate), cobalt dichloride, cobalt dinitrate and cobalt sulphate submitted by ECHA are available online.

The consolidated opinions of the Committees for Risk Assessment and Socio-Economic Analysis are now available on ECHA’s website.
