On the 22^nd of June the European Commission has published a new regulation (<link https: eur-lex.europa.eu legal-content en txt pdf _blank>Commission implementing regulation (EU) 2018/895) amending the <link https: eur-lex.europa.eu lexuriserv _blank>Regulation (EC) No 340/2008 on the fees and charges payable to the European Chemicals Agency.

The European Commission has revised fees for applications for authorisation of substances of very high concern under REACH to encourage companies to apply together. The fees for additional uses have increased. The revised fees will also apply to authorisation holders who submit a review report.
