The European Commission has requested ECHA to prepare an Annex XV restriction proposal concerning medium-chain chlorinated paraffins (MCCPs). ECHA will assess the risks to human health and the environment associated with the manufacture, use or placing on the market of medium-chain chlorinated paraffins (MCCPs) in substances, mixtures and articles.

Interested parties are invited to send information on the use and releases of MCCPs, socio-economic impacts of a potential restriction, the feasibility of alternatives and availability of analytical methods.

This call for evidence is open until 7 November 2021.
