Consultation on proposed restriction of PFASs in firefighting foams
ECHA has submitted a proposal to restrict per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in firefighting foams.
A consultation on the proposal is open from 23 March to 23 September 2022. ECHA’s scientific committees welcome early comments by 24 May 2022 to assist them in the first discussion of the proposal in June 2022.
