ECHA will participate to European Partnership for the Assessment of Risks from Chemicals (PARC) programme. This programme has just been launched with the objective to improve the chemical risk assessment.

ECHA will expect new data, methods and innovative tools to be developed over the next seven years. These will address challenges in chemical safety and strengthen the EU’s regulatory science and policy making in this area.

PARC is part of the EU’s Horizon Europe programme for the 2021-2027. It brings together nearly 200 partners from 28 countries as well as EU agencies. The project is coordinated by the French authority ANSES.
