ECHA submitted an intention to restrict the use of lead in ammunition (gunshot and bullets) and fishing tackle on 3 October 2019 for submission on 2 October 2020. The restriction will cover the use of lead in gunshot in terrains other than wetlands, bullets used both in wetlands and in terrains other than wetlands, as well as lead in fishing tackle.
