The Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) is looking for an “Experienced Engineer in environmental policies with focus on chemicals” to mostly work on chemicals policies (REACH and CLP). The selected candidate will also contribute to the further development of the Environmental Policies group (EPS) activities on chemicals, e.g. on the substitution of hazardous chemicals, the safe use of chemicals, and a deeper focus on selected product groups such as nanomaterials, plastics, etc.

The selected candidate will be part of the Sustainability Assessment and Circularity (SUSTAIN) research unit at the Department of Environmental Research and Innovation (ERIN) at LIST and will join the Environmental Policies group (EPS) of the SUSTAIN research unit. The EPS group aims to contribute to a better control of environmental risks via science based support to the definition, implementation and evaluation of environmental policies at national and EU level.
