The European Commission's Joint Research Centre has published a survey on new approach methodologies that could help to reduce or replace testing on animals.

The aim is to gather information on methodologies that are capable of supporting the development of different options for extending REACH information requirements. This is one of the primary ambitions of the Chemicals Strategy for Sustainability.

The deadline to complete the survey is 5 September 2021.
