On 16 June 2026, the REACH&CLP Helpdesk Luxembourg organised a webinar on the latest developments of the PFAS restriction proposal, bringing together almost 50 participants.

The webinar provided participants with an overview of the restriction proposal, including the general scope and current status from scientific evaluation. The programme opened with an overview of the background and state of play of the PFAS restriction by Helpdesk, followed by a presentation of the perspective from the dossier submitters and insights on the applications of fluorinated gases from the Norwegian Environment Agency, and a focus on construction products by the Danish Environmental Protection Agency. The Helpdesk then addressed the implications for industry and the supply chain, outlining how companies can prepare, while the Administration de l'Environnement (AEV) presented enforcement projects of current PFAS restrictions.
