Highlights from the September RAC and SEAC meetings
The committees for risk assessment (RAC) and socio-economic analysis (SEAC) reached a provisional conclusion on the PFAS restriction proposal for the petroleum and mining sector. The sectors of textiles, upholstery, leather, apparel and carpets, and the sector of food contact materials and packaging, the discussions will be continued at the next meeting.
RAC also adopted an opinion on the harmonised classification and labelling of talc.
