Streamlining of chemical assessments

The European Parliament and the Council provisionally agreed on the “one substance - one assessment” package (OSOA).

This package is part of the Commissions simplification agenda and aims to enable an easy access to data on chemicals with a common data platform.

Also, a new monitoring and outlook framework will allow the early detection of chemical risks and strengthen the cooperation between the EU agencies.

Further information is available at the Commission’s press release.
