ECHA recently published a guidance document to support companies with the transition towards fluorine-free firefighting foams.

This guidance is in line with the POP and REACH regulations and shows best practices, technical and regulatory insights and also solutions which are feasible for companies. Also, it addresses the REACH restriction of PFAS containing firefighting foams which will be adopted by the Commission in the coming months.
