The European Court of Justice published two decisions concerning titanium dioxide and melamine.

In one decision, it upholds the annulment of the classification of titanium dioxide in certain powder forms as a carcinogenic substance, by dismissing two appeals against this judgement.

In another decision, it confirms ECHA’s identification of melamine as a substance of very high concern (SVHC) due to its persistent, mobile and toxic properties.
