The Member state Committee agreed during its October meeting to identify 1,1'-(ethane-1,2-diyl)bis[pentabromobenzene] (DBDPE) as SVHC. 

This decision is based on the very persistent and very bioaccumulative properties of the substance. 

The substance will be added to the Candidate List expectedly in November by ECHA.
