ECHA has published a draft mapping of PFAS uses to support the consultation on the SEAC’s draft opinion on the PFAS restriction proposal coming up in spring 2026.

The consultation will have sector specific questions for the 14 sectors and the PFAS manufacturing. For a smooth process, ECHA encourages stakeholders to consult this document before starting gathering relevant information to specific uses.

Further details will be published after SEAC’s December meeting and a final version will be published with the opening of the consultation.
