The Commission recently published the new regulation (Regulation (EU) 2025/2365) on preventing plastic pellet losses to reduce microplastic pollution.

This regulation introduces a new hazard pictogram for plastic pellets that fall under the REACH restriction entry n° 78 on microplastics. This new pictogram must be included on the label, the packaging and the safety data sheets of the concerned substances.
