In the context of the “one substance, one assessment” (OSOA) package that was decided in 2025 by the Commission, ECHA, in collaboration with other European agencies, will develop a common data platform on chemicals in 2026. 

The platform will provide information from multiple sources and several services such as:

• Information Platform for chemical monitoring;
• Repository of reference values;
• Study notifications database;
• Databases on standard formats and controlled vocabularies, regulatory processes, legal obligations, chemicals in articles or products, alternatives to substances of concern, and environmental sustainability-related data.
