Highlights from RAC meeting in June

In its June meeting, the Risk Assessment Committee adopted several opinions including on the classifications of TFA and resorcinol as well as on the planned restrictions for certain chromium(VI) oxides, oxyacids and salts and octocrilene. These opinions will be published later this month.

The committee also started to discuss glyphosate following the European Commission's request to ECHA and EFSA to evaluate new data on its carcinogenic effects.

The meeting minutes are now available on ECHA’s website.
