Starting 1 January 2027, distributors will be explicitly recognised as duty holders under Article 45 of the CLP Regulation, clarifying their role in poison centre notifications.

This affects distributors selling mixtures not already covered by an existing notification, or rebranding products under their own name. Businesses should consult the updated Steps for Industry page to determine required actions ahead of the deadline.
