  REACH&CLP 2020 annual conference – New European policies and arising challenges for companies

  The REACH&CLP Helpdesk Luxembourg is pleased to invite you to its next information sessions entitled " REACH&CLP Annual conference 2020 – New European policies and arising challenges for companies", which will be organised online on Tuesday 15th of December 2020 from 14:00 to 16:00.

As every year, the annual REACH & CLP Helpdesk conference will review the latest developments in European legislation and the obligations which will apply, for some, from the 1^st January 2021.

During the event, attention will be focused on the key topics of the moment, such as:

• The Chemicals Strategy for sustainability and the possible impacts of REACH and CLP;
• Obligations relating to nanoforms;
• The various deadlines coming into force from January 1, 2021:
  • Declaration, in harmonised format, to poison centres of hazardous mixtures intended for consumer and professional uses;
  • Submission of information relating to substances of very high concern (SVHCs) in the SCIP database within the framework directive on waste;
  • The end of the transition period relating to Brexit.
• Latest developments related to biocides and clarification on obligations in the context of the covid;
• Persistent organic pollutants (POPs) with the presentation of the national implementation plan of the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants (PNMO) and the new activities of the REACH&CLP Helpdesk.

Unfortunately, due to the current health situation, we will not be able to meet again this year for our traditional “Networking lunch”. However, a large discussion session will allow participants to raise their concerns with the speakers present during this exceptional session.

This event is addressed to all companies (manufacturers, importers, downstream users of chemicals, article producers), as well as national authorities and consulting companies active in the field of REACH and CLP.
