  • User Training on « REACH Excel Tool » - Chemical inventory and regulatory databases

    The REACH&CLP Helpdesk Luxembourg invites companies, buying and using chemical products (substances and/or mixtures) and articles, to a training (in French) on its “REACH Excel Tool” on the 27th of April 2017, from 2.00 to 5.00 pm on the premises of the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) at Belvaux.

The version 3.2 of the “REACH Excel Tool” developed by the REACH&CLP Helpdesk Luxembourg allows companies to create an inventory of chemicals in order to:
  1. Identify  the status of your enterprise under REACH and the associated obligations for every chemical or every article purchased;
  2. Enable the monitoring of your suppliers to estimate any possible disruptions of supplies and to assist with the follow-up of Safety Data Sheets (SDS);
  3. Detection of Substances of Very High Concern and review of the regulatory status of chemicals in order to identify potential for improvement in the area of human health and the environment (potential for substitution);   
  4. Use as means of communication with the competent authorities and customers;
  5. Identify potentials for improvements in the administrative area of the supply chain.

A user-training will take place in the form of an interactive session (on computer workstations) in French, on the 27th of April 2017 from 2.00 to 5.00 pm on the premises of the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST), 41, rue du Brill, Belvaux. The training is free of charge and limited to 15 persons. The event is aimed at those who want to become familiar with the “REACH Excel Tool” and is also a good approach to understand general obligations under REACH and potential regulatory restrictions of substances used in a company

Registration fee: The registration is free of charge, but mandatory. You’ll receive a confirmation email one week before the event.
