The REACH Regulation (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals - Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006) and the CLP Regulation (Classification, Labelling and Packaging of substances and mixtures - Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008) have been in force for almost 20 years. Both of these regulations impose obligations on companies that handle chemicals, whether as substances on their own or as components of mixtures or articles. Although the main implementation deadlines have passed, companies must continue to meet their obligations under these regulations.

To help companies understand and keep up with these requirements, the REACH&CLP Helpdesk Luxembourg is organising an information session covering the fundamentals of both regulations. The session will provide an overview of the two legislative frameworks, highlighting their key provisions and the challenges they present for businesses. It will also cover the latest regulatory developments and upcoming obligations.

Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions to the speakers of the Helpdesk.

Target audience

This event is intended for companies affected by chemicals legislation that have a basic understanding of REACH and CLP, as well as those wishing to refresh or update their general knowledge of these regulations.
