Assessment of PAHs in granules and mulches
The European Commission requested ECHA to assess the risks to children from polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in granules and mulches.
These materials are often found on playgrounds or applications like gardening and landscaping. The identification of uncontrolled risks may lead to a restriction proposal. An initial screening assessment will be done in February.
