Authorisations granted for five substances
The European Commission has granted authorisations for:
- Two uses of potassium dichromate by Gentrochema BV with an expiration date on 21 September 2024;
- Two uses of sodium dichromate by Gentrochema BV with an expiration date on 21 September 2024 and for one use with an expiration date on 14 April 2024; and
- One use of sodium dichromate by Brenntag UK Ltd., Henkel AG & Co. KGaA, and AD International BV with an expiration date on 21 September 2024;
- Two uses of dichromium tris(chromate) by Henkel AG & Co and Henkel Global Supply Chain B.V. with an expiration date on 22 January 2026;
- Two uses of potassium hydroxyoctaoxodizincate dichromate by PPG Industries (UK) Ltd., Finalin GmbH, PPG Europe B.V., PPG Coatings SA and Aviall Services Inc. with an expiration date on 22 January 2026;
- Two uses of strontium chromate by Akzo Nobel Car Refinishes B.V., Habich GmbH, Henkel AG & Co and Henkel Global Supply Chain B.V., Indestructible Paint Ltd., Finalin GmbH, Mapaero, PPG Europe B.V., PPG Industries (UK) Ltd., PPG Coatings SA and Aviall Services Inc. with an expiration date on 22 January 2026.
