Consultation on proposed restriction of certain Chromium (VI) oxides, oxyacids and salts
ECHA has submitted a proposal to restrict the use of certain Chromium(VI) oxides, oxyacids and salts.
This proposal was submitted due to the carcinogenic properties of these substances.
The consultation is open until the 18 December 2025 and comments can be submitted on ECHA’s dedicated website.
