In the first year since ECHA introduced the manual completeness checks for chemical safety reports (CSRs) of registration dossiers, 2 013 CSRs were manually checked by ECHA staff.

1 461 (73 %) were found to be complete. 552 (27 %) failed the checks and were given a four-month deadline for corrections. Out of these, most CSRs have been completed as expected (around 80 %).
