ECHA has developed a new screening profiler to help identify persistent, bioaccumulative and toxic (PBT) or very persistent and very bioaccumulative (vPvB) substances. The ECHA PBT screening profiler may be used to screen for substances for further PBT/vPvB assessment under REACH.

The workflow is based on collected experimental data and results provided by t(Q)SAR models in the OECD QSAR Toolbox. The profiler is available for download from the QSAR Toolbox repository or through the QSAR Toolbox repository client. The profiler has not yet been widely tested and is available as a beta version.
