REACH&CLP Annual conference 2018: Implementation and future challenges for companies
The REACH&CLP Helpdesk Luxembourg, a national service provided by the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology, is pleased to invite you to its next information sessions entitled " REACH&CLP Annual conference 2018: Implementation and future challenges for companies" on Thursday, 6th of December 2018 from 12:30 to 17:00, at the administrative building at Belval.
The event consists of two parts:
- During the first part of the conference, a first presentation will give a short review of the last 2018 registration deadline and will remind companies that REACH registration obligations will continue, e.g. the update and evaluation of the registration dossiers. This intervention will be followed by a feedback from a Luxembourgish company on their main challenges during the last registration deadline and on their main challenges in the upcoming years.
- The second part of the conference will focus on a selection of topics that are considered as important for companies in the next years such as: the future enforcement projects in Luxembourg related to REACH and CLP regulations, the interface between Occupational Safety and Health legislation and REACH regulation, the Annex VIII CLP related to harmonised information relating to emergency health response, the last changes related to the Biocides regulation and the Substances (of very high concern, SVHC) in articles. The session will continue with the presentation of the LIFE Project AskREACH on the improvement of the information flow on SVHC in articles between suppliers and consumers.
Prior to the conference, as usual, you are invited to a networking lunch where you can discuss in a relaxed atmosphere with the team of the REACH&CLP Helpdesk Luxembourg, the speakers and the other participants.
