ECHA has published new information on ECHA’s upcoming SCIP database on hazardous substances in articles. The updates contain information to duty holders and users of the data, such as waste operators and consumers. This includes support documents, project milestones and information about the tools to be used for SCIP notifications.

As of January 2021, suppliers of articles that contain Candidate List substances (SVHCs) have the duty to notify them to ECHA’s SCIP database.
