A recent study commissioned by ECHA and the European Commission presents information about the uses and risks of fire-fighting foams, their emissions, remediation technologies as well as alternatives and the related costs. The aim is to help authorities to determine potential regulatory actions to protect the environment and EU citizens from risks of this use.
