The REACH&CLP Helpdesk Luxembourg is organising a practical training session on its online chemical inventory tool, “EnReach - Enabling you to comply with REACH”. This training session will take place on Wednesday 2 July 2025 from 14:00 to 17:00 at the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) in Belvaux.
The chemical inventory tool called “EnReach - Enabling you to comply with REACH” is an online tool replacing the former "REACH Excel Tool” (version 3.2), originally inspired by the practical REACH tool developed in 2008 by the Federation of Enterprises in Belgium (FEB), its sectoral federations and the Federal Public Service Economy, Small Businesses and Energy.
This tool is designed to help each company gather the appropriate information on its chemical products, in order to draw up an inventory of those present in the company. The tool is aimed primarily at SMEs, enabling them to identify critical substances and potential regulatory obligations under the REACH and CLP regulations. In this way, the company can make an initial assessment of the efforts required and the impact of these two regulations on its activities.
The user training will take the form of an interactive session (on a computer). Before allowing users to familiarise themselves with this new tool, the Helpdesk will give a general presentation on REACH and CLP and also introduce the EnReach tool. This training will also allow users to give their impressions of the tool directly to the Helpdesk team.
The training is free of charge but limited to a maximum of 10 people (after which no further registrations will be accepted). The Helpdesk will provide computers, but participants may also bring their own.
The event is aimed at those who wish to familiarise themselves with the tool and also provides a good approach to understanding the obligations under REACH and CLP and the possible regulatory restrictions on chemicals used in the company.
The training will be held in French.
