  • Webinar on obligations related to substances contained in articles

The REACH&CLP Helpdesk Luxembourg is organising a webinar on the obligations related to substances contained in articles. This webinar will take place on Thursday 16 October from 14:00 to 15:00.

Chemicals are everywhere, including in everyday items. Under REACH, it is the responsibility of each producer, importer and supplier of articles to ensure the safe use of the articles they place on the EU market. Communication, notification or registration obligations may apply to substances contained in articles.

The REACH&CLP Helpdesk Luxembourg offers companies an opportunity to understand their obligations. This webinar will provide an overview of how articles are defined under REACH, what requirements apply to substances on the Candidate List (SVHCs) contained in articles, and the registration requirements for substances intended to be released from an article.

In addition, various tools and databases will be presented to show how companies can comply with their obligation to communicate SVHCs or substances of concern contained in articles.

Participants will also have the opportunity to ask questions to the Helpdesk experts.

The event is aimed at all companies manufacturing, importing or selling articles.
