Commission decisions on applications for authorisation
The European Commission has granted 10 authorisations for uses of the following substances (review period expiry dates are in brackets):
4-Nonylphenol, branched and linear, ethoxilated (4-NPnEO):
- one use applied for by SEBIA (4 January 2028);
- one use applied by Sekisui S-lec BV Roermond (4 January 2028); and
- one use applied for by Cytiva Sweden AB (4 January 2033).
4-(1,1,3,3-Tetra methylbutyl)phenol, ethoxylated (4-tert-OPnEO):
- one use applied for by Rentschler Biopharma SE (4 January 2028);
- one use applied for by Kedrion S.p.A (4 January 2033);
- one use applied for by Sanofi Pasteur (4 January 2033); and
- two uses applied for by Diagnostica Stago (4 January 2028 and 4 January 2033).
Pitch, coal tar, high temperature:
- one use applied for by Rain Carbon Germany GmbH (4 October 2032).
Anthracene oil ('AO'):
- one use applied for by Rain Carbon Germany GmbH (4 October 2032).
The European Commission has also refused eight authorisations for uses of lead sulfochromate yellow and lead chromate molybdate sulfate red by DCL Corporation (NL) B.V. OR.
