On the last 31st of January, a new directive (Directive (EU) 2019/130) on the protection of the workers from the risks related to exposure to carcinogens and mutagens at work has been published.

The major modification concerns the Annex III on the limit values for occupational exposure which has been extended with new substances and limit values. This new directive also introduces a new article related to the social partners’ agreements. Two new points have also been added to the Annex I, which concerns the list of substances, preparations and processes.
