The European Commission has just opened a consultation on assignment of notes to certain substances in the framework of CLP Regulation.

CLP Regulation sets rules for classifying, labelling and packaging substances and mixtures. Annex VI lists notes that can be assigned to substances with harmonised classifications. These notes provide further instructions on how to classify and label these substances or mixtures containing them. This initiative assigns new notes (added to the CLP Regulation by a recent amendment) to certain substances.

The consultation is opened until 19 August 2022.
